Every charity/thrift shop I have been into lately is overflowing with stuff. I admit most of it is junk and should never have been dumped at the shop in the first place but there are plenty of great bargains to be found especially at the Warkworth Methodist Op shop and Homebuilders op shop both opposite the fire station in Warkworth. However, these shops are only open during mornings from 9am to 1pm weekdays. Be warned: you will have to rummage so it’s not for the faint hearted but worth it when you find a vintage Oroton handbag at the bottom of a box of what appears to be run-down handbags. Or a new dress with the tags still attached.
